Cranberries have more phenols (based on fresh weight) than produce items like strawberries, red grapes, or spinach. Fresh cranberries are rarely used, but now you have a recipe that calls for them. Head out and get some fresh cranberries and a pomegranate for a tasty juice creation. Make sure that you don’t stain your clothes!

Ingredients

  • 4 -6 large kale leaves
  • 1 c pomegranate arils
  • 1 c fresh cranberries
  • 1 pear, cored and chopped
  • 1 -inch piece ginger root, peeled
  • 6 -12 mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Process all of the ingredients through a juicer. You can drink this filtered or unfiltered.
  2. Enjoy within 15 minutes of juicing.
