You don’t want to miss out on this raw vegan spicy cashew dip. It has a beautiful, rich, creamy texture that that’ll convince the most devout dairy lover. Serve it up to your friends and they may not realize that it’s 100% raw vegan. No dairy products whatsoever! Will it become a staple dip in your house? Make it, reading your carrot sticks, and find out!

In the picture, you can see that the dip has a wonderfully creamy texture, similar to the texture of hummus. It should be thick and smooth, but you can make it more crumbly if you desire. Should you want a dip that has more texture, you don’t have to blend this dip until smooth. Once you achieve your desired texture, you can stop blending the ingredients in the food processor, scoop it out, and serve. You can also tweak the flavors to your personal preference, adding chopped green onion or garlic during the blending process.

Why should you soak the raw cashews? Although food processors have super blending abilities, they can still have a harder time when blending nuts. Soaking cashews helps to soften them, which makes them easier to blend. That means that you can achieve a smoother, creamier consistency without blending in the food processor for a long time. If you need to add more water during the blending process, feel free to do so.
