Strawberry Chia Seed Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 c strawberries (you can use frozen strawberries, just thaw them first!)
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp. agave or honey
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  2. Quickly pulse until combined and strawberries take on a “mashed” consistency.
  3. Place in a covered container and refrigerate for at least an hour before using.
  4. Enjoy on your morning toast, or smeared on bread (gluten free if allergic) with almond butter.
