If you are not taking advantage of summer produce items like peaches and watermelon, what are you doing with your life? Peaches are both tangy and sweet, and they are freshest during summer. Most people don’t know that peaches contain tons of vitamin A, vitamin C, fiber, potassium, and calcium. Additionally, peaches are about 85-89% water, meaning they help to keep you hydrated. They are similar to watermelon in that regard.
Watermelon and summer go together like chips and guac. The two are simply a match made in heaven. Roughly 92% of watermelon is water, so you boost hydration when you eat it. Additionally, watermelon contains beneficial antioxidants that help to accelerate metabolism and reduce oxidative stress in the body. All this is to say that you are missing out on serious nutrients if you don’t drink this smoothie.
