Super Flu-Busting Soup

If you come down with the flu or a common cold, you need to eat foods that fight sickness and boost the immune system. Lucky for you, this raw soup contains ingredients with antioxidant, antibacterial, alkaline, and anti-inflammatory properties. Blend it for a couple extra minutes to naturally warm up the soup. That’s a little raw vegan hack for you.

Ingredients

  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 carrot, roughly chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 1/2 c fresh orange juice
  • 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 whole, small red chilli (optional if you don't like spice....or just de-seed first or use a large chilli that is not so spicy)
  • pinch sea salt and fresh cracked pepper

Instructions

  1. Put all these ingredients into the blender and whizz for a minute to make a smooth mixture.
