Winter Broccoli & Apple Salad

Trying new things is a good thing. This is a great salad to experiment with if you are cleansing because the flavors aren’t what you typically would find in a salad.

For the Salad

  • 4 c broccoli florets
  • 3 c apples, diced
  • 1/4 c red onion, diced
  • 1/4 c carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 c dried cranberries (without added sugars or sulfur)
  • 1/2 c raw sunflower seeds

For the Dressing

  • 1/4 c raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp. grade A maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper


  1. Combine all of the salad ingredients in a bowl and toss well.
  2. Add all of the dressing ingredients to a blender and blend until you get a smooth dressing.
  3. Dress the salad with the amount of dressing you desire and mix well to make sure all of the ingredients are coated. Enjoy!
