I've had a bump on my gum for nearly 20 years. It is most likely an abscess, developed from a childhood injury. On occasion, it swells, and becomes slightly painful to the touch. A few weeks after, it shrinks again. Is there a natural alternative to a root canal?

I never heard of a root canal surgery for a gum boil or abscess. Gum boils usually go away on their own. They are due to a mucus-forming diet. Consider going mostly raw foods (60%), and vegan (40%).
