I was recently diagnosed through MRI scan with a torn rotator cuff and surgery is recommended. I am a 60 year old African American female in very good health except for hypertension controlled by medication (Lopressor 25mg. twice daily). Please advise an alternative to surgery! Presently the pain is minimal but range of motion is a little comprised. I am totally against surgical procedures unless that is my only alternative. Please advise!
