Q: My son eats, and 30 minutes or sooner he has to go to the bathroom. He is thin, and doesn't hold food. If he eats he goes. What can he take to try to hold his food a little longer so that we can gain a few pounds. Is this behavior healthy? The doctors say he is fine, but going to the bathroom everytime you eat something, is a bit much.
You're supposed to defecate 30 minutes after you eat. That's natural! You are going against nature to have the son to be like everybody else who are constipated, and don't know it. Don't follow societal norm!
Q: I am just becoming a vegan going on 20 years in June, and it takes a lot of discipline. I was wondering if you knew any good recipes for some good vegan style dishes. I really want to establish a vegan restaurant. I have purchased your Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual, and I know its healthier to eat vegan. But, I also understand its not the healthiest due to soy products. Is their still away to satisfy my appetite and well being at the same time?

Q: So in the greater scheme of things is the FULL BODY DETOX just something to get the ball rolling? Why do people see such significant results? Also I didn't find much on bed wetting on your site. My son is close to 13 and has been dealing with a bed-wetting problem since he was a toddler. He has been prescribed things like catnip and other bladder/nervous system supporting herbs. I purchased the teenager cleanse for him but do you have any other suggestions?
THE HERBS ARE FORMULATED VERY WELL AND THE HERBS ARE POTENT. COUPLE THIS WITH THE RAW FOODS DIET AND HERE'S YOUR ANSWER! I RECOMMEND CENTAURY EXTRACT! COMING SOON TO DHERBS (AUGUST 2008)
Q: I just ordered the Full Body Cleanse and was wondering if this will actually help with the above ailments as well weight loss. I am 6 ft, 240lbs guy who only eats seafood for meat. After the detox regimen, what do you suggest for maintaining the results to be obtained?
The Full Body Cleanse helps with everything! Also, check out our post-cleanse recommendation whereby we recommend certain formulas for maintenance.
Q: What are some natural herbs that I can give my son for hypoglycemia? He gets lightheadedness a lot and has passed out from time to time. He also goes through mood swings, and also eats a lot of starch and sugar which I have tried to regulate but am not always around him to keep him from consuming them. My son is fifteen years old. This has been a big concern for me due to diabetes run in my family.
Please read our article entitled "HYPOGLYCEMIA" located in our articles section. Thank you kindly!
Q: Truth indeed. I just finished watching this youtube video, on mass control, fluoridation, and mercury poisoning. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?Feature=player_embedded). I wondered if there were any herbs, or natural rememdies that can counteract this? I am in my mid 30s, and feel as though I am going through alziehmers (growing forgetfulness, absent-mindedness, foggy thinking, ADHD, hypersensetivity to noises so as to find it almost impossible to concentrate). I have my "Back to Eden" Book, I will continue digging for answers there too.
Don't look for answers or solutions primarily from sources outside of the body. There are herbs, but first use your mind. Mental healing! will your healing into fruition. Good herbs that will assist include Gingko Biloba, Ginseng (all types), and Gotu Kola. Dherbs.com Brain Tuner, CNS, and Ethereal Bliss are also helpful for your condition.
Q: Do you have a product for children with possible sinus conditions? My son who allegedly has sickle cell I believe has possible sinus issues. He does not eat a lot meat or dairy either. He eats healthy most days. Peace & love
Q: My fiance has experienced water retention and discoloration in his right foot and leg for around 2 years. Doctors had him on water pills, coreg for vascular issues and glyberide for high blood sugars. He ordered the Pancreas kit and around a week into the program experienced more swelling in the foot and leg. He stopped the program to resume taking the water pill to see if this would help. He has gained around 12 lbs which is water held in this leg. I know the natural way of good nutrition and herbs is a good course to follow but can you offer some suggestions to help these issues. 1. water retention 2. His stomach rumbles and gurgles 24 hours a day to the point where I thought our neighbors were dragging furniture across the floor. This has caused him considerable embarrassment at work. We are eating a vegan diet about 50% raw-50%-cooked. Oddly enough when he eats a standard American diet the rumbling stops. 3. High blood pressure. Thank you so much for answering my previous letter to you. I believe in what you are doing, and know that the body will heal at it's own pace with proper care. I have resolved a urinary problem just a week into your Detox program and think it's great.
Your husband is NOT getting proper circulation to his extremities. He should have not stopped the Pancreas kit because it is common for things to get worse before better. He should have judged himself after the kit was finished in 3-weeks. He experienced the HEALING CRISIS and stopped! He should complete the kit and regimen (perhaps even starting over).
His stomach is making noises because he's having digestive problems. He needs to eat as much raw foods as possible and rink plenty of vegetable juice. SAD foods stops his stomach from gurgling because that's what's in his stomach; and when he does not give his stomach what it wants (a sign of fasting and cleansing), he hear the noise from his stomach. Again, the healing crisis. Things will get worse before they get better. However, you don't stop!
High blood pressure is due to his toxic state and poor circulation!
There's healing from him!

Q: What do you tell someone that believes that eating meat is better than eating products not made of meat such as wheat pasta, brown rice, etc. My wife eats way too much meat, and she always says that she needs it for the protein. She doesn't work out or exercise regularly so I see it as just an excuse to continue the same old behavior. She's 5'6" and 205lbs and I think she should weigh 140 - 145 max. She's 43 years old and suffers from high blood pressure and swelling in the legs.
We provide you with all the ammo you need in our free articles. Read the articles WHAT IS MEAT?, PROTEIN PROPAGANDA, THE DANGERS OF EATING MEAT, etc. You'll have all the ammo you need to counteract or retort any meat-eater's argument about eating dead animal flesh!
Q: I don't know if you remember or know, but there was a Vegan Couple that had a newborn baby, and the baby had died from what seemed to be a lack a of nutrients because the couple fed the baby a vegan diet. If you remember this, what do you think went wrong.
The couple was from Atlanta! What went wrong is that while they were well-intentioned, they were ignorant, ignorant to true nutrition. They fed the baby soy milk, and soy milk does not contain nutrition. They didn't supplement the soy milk with nutrition which they could have done with herbs such as alfalfa, Irish Moss, Iceland Moss, etc.
Q: What is the best way for a Vegan to get vit? B 12? What do you think about essential oils? Have you heard of the Young Living brand? I work with a woman who says she has eczema, but it is deep purple and very painful. I have never seen anything like it, but her doctors want to try chemo to get rid of it. Doctors are so brilliant. Why do so many people go to get punished by them?
FOR B12, EAT PLENTY OF GREEN VEGETABLES OR TAKE VITAMIN B 12. I HAVE HEARD OF YOUNG LIVING BRAND. ESSENTIAL OLIS ARE ESSENTIAL OILS. YOUNG LIVING IS JUST A BRAND. THE OILS ARE THE SAME. YL OFFERS GOOD OILS. I ENDORSE THEM! GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY! CHEMOTHERAPY FOR ECZEMA? PLEASE TELL ME YOUR FRIEND HAS BRAINS AND KNOWS NOT TO FALL FOR THIS. PLEASE HAVE HER READ MY ARTICLE ON â€ECZEMAâ€. I STAY AWAY FROM DOCTORS AT ALL COSTS!
Q: My mother, has been experiencing a digestive tract disorder for over 3 years. Everything she eats, and takes orally seems to come through her system, and gives off a foul smell. I recommended her to try your products because, they have been successful for me. She started taking the Probiotics, and Weight Loss Formula. She mentioned just today that they too, are coming through her system, and putting out a foul smell. She has been taking the herbs for little over 3-4 weeks now. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for my mom?
Please have her perform the Full Body Detox, followed by the 10-Day Electric Greens Cell Food Cleanse. Her insides are putrified because she's acidic. She needs to eat mostly fruits, vegetables and start drinking vegetable juice. These will help her condition.
Q: How often should one eat cook food? I'm a vegan, I do not consume any meat, seafood, milk what so ever. I eat water cresses like everyday so as cook food. Like white rice with black bean sauce, spinach, and pasta at time's I'll eat some Chinese fried rice, veggie roll, steamed vegetables, any advice?
You can eat cooked food as much as you like. However, try to incorporate as many nutrient-dense raw foods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, raw nuts and seeds, into your diet to make sure you are receiving an adequate amount of nutrients.
Q: Hey Gary, I've heard a lot of hype about the paleo diet. I'm a vegan. Is the paleo diet a diet you would recommend? Can it work with vegan lifestyle? Thanks!
Sorry for the late response, This one got kind of lost in my emails. Thanks for your question.
The Paleo diet.... something nice.... something nice.... heh.
The Paleo diet emphasizes drinking water and eating local/organic food. They shun dairy, processed food, and grains. I agree.
I disagree with just about everything else. For paleo theory to be correct Vegans either have to not exist or be doing very poorly. Wrong on both accounts. They say vegans just can't get enough protein or that we are missing x,y,z in our diets. Never mind that every major paleo website sells the supplements they say only vegans are deficient in. "Vegans don't get enough protein so eat meat and then buy our protein powder supplements. Vegans don't get enough omega 3's so just eat fish and while you are at it buy our krill oil supplements." And so on. The paleo diet is just the low carb diet re-branded. Here are the results of long term low carb eating. http://www.pcrm.org/health/reports/analysis-of-health-problems-associated-with-high.
Vegans are doing extremely well and in most long term studies Vegans end up on top in both health and longevity.

They claim carbohydrates make you fat and that the more you eat the more you weigh. Why then do the 80-10-10 crowd all appear not only all thin but extremely healthy? Carbohydrates are your bodies main source of fuel. Preferred source. Every cell in your body runs on glucose. The human body is amazing. The is a secondary source of energy in case of starvation, or glucose deprived. The body starts to burn fat as fuel known as keytosis. This was only meant as a way to keep the body running during famine. However the paleo people think this is a preferred state to be in. It's not. Look up keto-acidosis. Could be deadly. The bottom line is that people will always be looking forward to the latest fad that tells them "good things about their bad habits".
My Diet program that I run follows a high carb/low fat/high alkaline/high raw protocol. All my client reach remarkable health results.
I could go on forever, but I think you get the point. Let me know if you have anything else to add to this discussion.

Q: What's the best way to start on a vegan/raw food diet? I am not sure what to eat to make sure I would get a nutritious diet-you may not be able to go into that much detail but how can I get sample meal plans for breakfast, lunch and dinner incorporating this type of diet-perhaps there is somewhere on the web I find something like this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
If I do say myself, the best way to start a raw food diet is to be coached by me. I run a 6 month health coaching program that is 60-90 percent raw and 100 percent vegan/gluten free/ allergy free. You can find out more about my program at www.theveganeffect.com. I am running a special of half off my program if you sign up before march 1st.
Here are some other tips to get started.
2: Read books like "beauty detox solution" by snyder, "80/10/10" by Dr. Graham., or "The Paradigm diet" by Adam Dave
3: Start simple with breakfast. Always start your day with a green smoothie. read "Green smoothie revolution" by forget authors name at the moment. heh.
A sample meal plan would be.
Breakfast: Green smoothie
Bridge: raw bar, handful of nuts or seeds, or fruit
Lunch: Raw wraps made from collard greens. use a base of tahini, hummus, or nut butter. Fill with sprouts and colorful veggies
Bridge: raw bar, handful nuts or seeds, or fruit
Dinner: Raw pasta with a large salad

Q: I'm a raw vegan, and still suffering from acne. I stay away from all sweeteners, except fresh whole fruits. I started to have lots of greens juices these days, and my skin has improved a little bit. What about spices such a cayenne pepper, is it bad for your skin? What about goji berries? I know they are diet fruits, thats why I stay away from them for a while. I even fast for a while. I just don't know how my skin can getter better.
Greetings! Have you detoxed (Full Body Detox)? Acne is a blood disorder. Please read our article "Skin Disorder = Blood Disorder" for more information. Our Healing Facial Kit will be out later this month. Recommended reading: The Mental Science Manual. Stay positive! Don't focus so much on the problem. Use visualization techniques, and see yourself as you desire to see yourself, with flawless skin.

Q: I have purchased the detox cleanse. Can I eat any vegan dish. Or am I to eat only raw fruits and vegetables?
We make it very clear that the detox (FULL BODY DETOX) diet calls for a strictly raw foods diet. Now if you want to eat vegan foods that's your choice via free will. Raw foods are BEST though! Just do the best you can!
Q: I am not sure if I am looking to go vegan, but I am doing the weight loss cleanse and do feel a difference in my body. My question is how do I keep up eating raw without getting bored? Can you recommend meal replacements and exercises.
You should absolutely consider going vegan for your long term health, the health of the planet, and of course sparing countless animals from suffering. I have been vegan for over five years and they have been the best of my life! My health program www.theveganeffect.com is a huge success!
With that being said, the best way to keep from getting bored is to eat a variety of fruits and veggies. The main meals of a basic raw food eater is smoothies, soups, collard green wraps, and raw pasta made with zucchini instead of pasta.
You can find more recipes on my page or at http://foodnsport.com/recipes/
