This is most common in the colder months. Chapped lips appear to be very dry. Other symptoms include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Burning sensation<\/li><li>Redness<\/li><li>Swelling<\/li><li>Cracks in the skin<\/li><li>Peeling of the skin<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Cracks and peeling are signs of extreme dryness.
