Yesterday and today had a different feel then the entire detox<\/a>, knowing that today is the last day. I made it! I kept wondering what I will eat when I’m done. I’ve had several people ask me what my first meal will be. Funny, but I don’t have any great pull to anything! The herbies have been extremely fulfilling for me and I can’t believe I am saying this, but I will miss them:) A few changes feel lasting: a focus on lots more water daily, and a new appreciation for veggies! The raw approach is fine for awhile, yet heat turns on the planet–it’s in sex, the hot music, the sizzling dance steps, the temperatures that transform food. Heat doesn’t have to be destructive. Flavor often emerges in the process, and I’m one for the great flavors of life! I’ve lost 5 or 6 lbs and 5 1\/2″. Most of that came off my waist and stomach — yippee! My son, Pharoah, told me tonight he sees my upper arms much more slender..glad he notices. All is well and more to come. It has been an absolute pleasure to do the detox and to keep the blog on a daily basis. I recommend the daily writing for anyone who wants to hold themselves accountable to the many changes the body, consciousness and heart levels go through in this purging and recharging process.
