Everybody who has some Eggo waffles <\/strong>should get rid of them. The real reason is because Kellogg recalled over 10,000 cases of Eggo waffles across 25 states because of a possible listeria contamination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is listeria<\/a>, you ask? Listeria can be several bacteria that contaminate food. The bacteria usually live in soil, feces, or water. The most common foods that harbor the bacteria include deli meats<\/a>, processed foods (EGGO!!!), and unpasteurized dairy products<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, people may not experience any health symptoms when they ingest the bacteria. The bacteria can be fatal <\/strong>to children, the elderly, pregnant women, or people with weakened immune systems<\/a>. It is dangerous for pregnant women because the bacteria can cause sudden death to the unborn baby, or induce a deathly infection days after birth.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
