Millions of people around the world don\u2019t have access to clean drinking water. The luxury of getting water from the tap or even washing dishes with clean water is not available to everyone, but that could change with <strong>the WaterSeer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The WaterSeer<\/strong>, which was developed by VICI labs along with UC Berkeley and the National Peace Corps Association, was designed to <strong>provide clean water to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dherbs.com\/articles\/wellness-prevention\/irish-teen-may-have-the-solution-for-removing-microplastics-from-water\/\">people without clean water sources<\/a><\/strong>. This device is fairly simple, using wind energy as a power source. The WaterSeer \u201cpulls\u201d moisture from the air and condenses it into water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first invention to use condensation as a method for collecting water, but previous devices used diesel or a lot of energy. Some even used chemicals that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dherbs.com\/articles\/these-10-u-s-cities-have-the-worst-air-quality\/\">harmed the environment<\/a>. <strong>The WaterSeer <\/strong>uses the above ground turbine to send air downwards into a condensation chamber as it spins. The condensation chamber, which is buried underground, is cooled by the surrounding earth, ultimately condensing the water vapor into liquid. The water collects in a reservoir and it can be extracted by using a hose and water pump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"WaterSeer\u2122 Indiegogo HD\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mchIdbLCjsY?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque&#038;autoplay=0&#038;autohide=1&#038;controls=1&#038;loop=1&#038;rel=0&#038;fs=1&#038;showinfo=0&#038;modestbranding=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;start=0&#038;theme=dark&#038;color=red&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The developing team is generating pre-orders that can support the company\u2019s \u201cbuy one give one\u201d model.
