You’ve heard about hot honey, but are you familiar with spicy maple syrup? Infusing the rich, comforting flavor of maple syrup with the spiciness of red pepper flakes and chili powder is truly a creation to appreciate. When you start experimenting with food, you can unlock a world of gastronomic possibilities. Some creations may not be as great as others, but you stumble on a gem like this spicy maple syrup every now and again.

The best thing about this condiment, besides how easy it is to make, is that you can use it on so many foods. Turn up the heat on your pancakes or appreciate the harmonious interplay of spicy and sweet on a sandwich. You can truly elevate your dishes to new heights, all the while establishing a balance of sweet and savory.

To make this condiment, combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. This isn’t like those long oil-infusions that require you to double boil a jar of oil and herbs in a saucepan for over two hours. Simmer the ingredients in this recipe for about two to five minutes, or until it begins to thicken. Taste the syrup and adjust the spice level to your tolerance. Ideally, this shouldn’t burn your taste buds off and cause you to gasp for air. This is a balanced condiment that you can enjoy on myriad dishes.

]]>

If you want your skin to glow, you have to treat it right. The matcha clay face mask in this article is a simple, all-natural mask that works to detoxify the skin. Not only does that help remove impurities from your pores, but it also helps the skin look more radiant. Can you go wrong with nourishing ingredients like matcha, French green claw, kaolin clay, honey powder, aloe vera powder, and more?

This face mask helps to absorb excess oil and deep clean the skin. Matcha, spirulina, and goat milk powder help to calm and revive the skin with nourishing vitamins and minerals. Other ingredients help trap moisture into the skin and give it an immediate glow. Whether you have acne prone skin, oily skin, sensitive skin, or dry skin, this mask is highly suitable. Continue reading to learn about some of the standout ingredients.

Aloe Vera Gel Powder

Aloe vera gel is a natural humectant, which attracts moisture from the air and supplies it to your skin. By deeply moisturizing the skin, you strengthen your skin’s elasticity, helping it appear smoother and more supple. If you notice that facial skin feels dry, this is an ingredient your skin requires.

Spirulina Powder

Spirulina is a notable superfood that provides the body with protein, thiamin, copper, niacin, iron, and more. It is also a great source of antioxidants, which help contribute to a fresh, clear complexion. Spirulina helps nourish the skin, promoting cell growth and regeneration with its amino acid content.

Matcha Powder

Made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, matcha exhibits impressive antioxidant activity. The leaves dry naturally, so no heating is involved, which better preserves their nutrients. Matcha also offers antibacterial and antibiotic properties, which help rejuvenate skin cells, promote smooth skin, and reduce fine lines.

Kaolin Clay

Kaolin clay has a fine texture, so it is very gentle on the skin. It is less absorbing than French green clay, which we will discuss next. If your skin is dry or sensitive, double the amount of kaolin clay and omit the French green clay from this recipe.

French Green Clay

Rich in trace minerals, French green clay works to nourish the skin, clear impurities, and absorb excess oils. Studies show that this clay benefits people with acne because it helps to remove blackheads and germs in pores. It also tightens pores and promotes overall skin rejuvenation. The green color is attributed to the centuries-old plant matter, from which French green clay is made. It also contains iron oxide, which helps draw out toxins from the skin.

Honey Powder

Honey exhibits antibacterial and antiseptic properties that help soothe inflammation. The antioxidants in honey support cell regeneration and strengthen the skin. Just like aloe vera, honey is a natural humectant, so it helps trap moisture into the skin and add shine to your complexion.

DIY Matcha Clay Face Mask

Ingredients:

 • 1.4 ounces French green clay
 • 1.4 ounces kaolin clay
 • 0.7 ounces goat milk powder
 • 0.35 ounces matcha powder
 • 0.35 ounces honey powder
 • 0.17 ounces spirulina powder
 • 0.04 ounces aloe vera gel powder
 • 0.02 ounces allantoin

Instructions:

 • First of all, a digital scale to make your life easier. Weigh out the different powders and place them all in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
 • After mixing the powders thoroughly, Pour the mixture into an airtight container and store in a cool, dark place. You don’t want this to be exposed to sunlight or a heat source.
 • When ready to use, put two teaspoons of the powder into a small mixing bowl and stir in one teaspoon of water. Continue stirring until you achieve a smooth paste.
 • Using a brush or spatula, apply the mask to your face, making sure to avoid the lips, hairline, eyes, and eyebrows.
 • Rinse with warm water and a washcloth after 10 minutes. You can then apply a toner and moisturizer.

Is it too early to be talking about the holidays? Just visit any store, supermarket, or mall and you will see that holiday decorations are aplenty. The earworm holiday songs that play on loop can be a lot, but holidays aren’t all about shopping malls. One thing we love about the holidays is all the unique produce! From cranberries and apples to pomegranates and winter squash, there is not shortage of fresh, seasonal produce during this time of year.

This gorgeous holiday salad features crunchy pecans, juicy pomegranate seeds, crisp apple slices, and curly kale. To top it off, drizzle all of those ingredients with a sweet and tangy apple cider vinaigrette. You can enjoy this salad as an entree, serve it as a Thanksgiving side dish, or include it as part of your weeknight dinner. Because most meals during the fall and winter tend to be heavier, this salad provides a light and decadent relief. Fit it in somewhere between the roasted or mashed potatoes, stuffing, and the 12 dessert varieties.

Featuring Honeycrisp apples, which are both crispy and juicy, this salad is absolutely to die for. Because it includes a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables, you can rest easy knowing that you’ll get a ton of antioxidant compounds. On top of the captivating colors, this salad offers contrasting textures and sweet, salty, and tangy flavors. We hope you love it as much as we do and that it brings a little lightness to your holiday season.

Honeydew melon, or honeymelon, is a fruit that belongs to the cucumis melo (muskmelon) species. It exhibits a light green sweet flesh, which is concealed by a white-yellow skin. Honeydew melons are very similar in size to cantaloupes and mini watermelons, and the consensus is that they are the sweetest of all melons.

Although you can typically buy honeydew melons year round, peak season is from July to September. Honeydew exhibits a diverse nutritional profile, which is potentially honeydew’s most valuable asset. Among the vitamins and minerals, it contains beneficial plant compounds that are responsible for some of its many health benefits. The following nutritional information is based off of a one-cup serving of honeydew:

 • Calories: 64
 • Carbohydrates: 16 grams (g)
 • Protein: 1 g
 • Fat: 0 g
 • Fiber: 1.4 g
 • Folate: 8% of the recommended daily intake (RDI)
 • Potassium: 12% of the RDI
 • Vitamin C: 53% of the RDI
 • Vitamin K: 6% of the RDI
 • Magnesium: 4% of the RDI
 • Vitamin B6: 8% of the RDI

Contains Vital Nutrients For Bone Health

Honeydew melon is a great source of magnesium, folate, and vitamin K, three nutrients that are crucial for maintaining strong bones. Folate works to break down homocysteine, a necessary function because elevated levels reduce bone mineral density over time. More research is necessary to draw conclusive evidence between the relationship of folate and bone health, though. Vitamin K, on the other hand, is essential for osteocalcin production, a structural protein in the bones. Adequate vitamin K levels, then, can help encourage healthier, stronger bones.

May Improve Blood Sugar Control

There are several research studies that indicate that eating fruits, such as honeydew melon, may help regulate blood sugar levels. One study monitored half a million people for seven years. Researchers noted that those who consumed fresh fruit daily were 12% less likely to develop diabetes, compared to people who hardly ate fruit. In the participants who already had diabetes at the start of the study, eating fruit at least three times per week reduced diabetes-related health complications by 13-28%.

Supports Hydration

One cup of honeydew provides more than five ounces of water. By consuming enough water, you can avoid dehydration. If the body enters a state of dehydration, it overheats and you can experience problems with mood, thinking, digestion, and kidneys. Drinking enough water can help flush waste from the body and lubricate and cushion the joints. According to one study, people who hydrate sufficiently develop fewer chronic conditions, including heart and lung disease. Well-hydrated people tend to live longer compared to people who don’t drink enough fluids

May Regulate Blood Pressure

Because honeydew is low in sodium and high in potassium, it may help with blood pressure management. Potassium works to control blood pressure by causing the kidneys to excrete excess sodium. In excess, sodium is a nutrient that can cause high blood pressure. Potassium also works to reduce tension in blood vessels walls, which can further reduce blood pressure. Additional research shows that eating more fruits and vegetables that produce nitric oxide can help prevent and treat lifestyle-related disease, such as high blood pressure.

May Support Skin Health

Honeydew is a great source of vitamin C, water, and anti-inflammatory compounds, all of which benefit the skin. Skin cells are dependent on vitamin C to produce collagen and regulate the collagen and elastin balance. It is this delicate balance that gives the skin its volume and shape. If you don’t consume enough vitamin C, you may experience dull-looking skin and skin inflammation. In fact, several studies confirm that low vitamin C levels are linked to aged or sun-damaged skin.

May Improve Digestion

Honeydew contains a lot of fiber, an integral nutrient for optimal digestive function. There is a lot of evidence that supports the link between adequate fiber intake and a healthy gut. Fiber works to slow blood sugar response, encourage bowel regularity, and promote the growth of healthy gut bacteria.

When the weather is hot, you want something that can refresh your palate and promote hydration. This smoothie uses two incredibly hydrating ingredients, honeydew melon and cucumber. One cup of honeydew provides over five ounces of water, and cucumbers are made up of around 96% water. That is about the highest water content of any food. Plus, they are naturally rich in many vitamins and dietary fiber.

Apart from the water content, honeydew melon is a great source of vitamin C, with one cup providing one-third of the recommended daily intake. The immune system needs vitamin C to protect the body against viruses, bacteria, and pathogens. Vitamin C’s antioxidant activity also works to protect cells from free radical damage, which can increase the risk of chronic disease. Regular intake of vitamin C is necessary to support optimal immune function.

Cucumber and honeydew supply water, vitamins, and minerals, but they aren’t the only ingredients that bring impressive nutrition to the smoothie. Mint is wonderful for relieving upset stomach and indigestion. In fact, multiple studies confirm that food passes through the stomach quicker when people consume mint. Finally, the fresh lime juice provides more vitamin C and helps promote alkalinity in the body. We hope you enjoy this smoothie on a warm day, so that you can cool down.

It can be difficult to keep track of so many different creams, treatments, masks, salves, and more on the beauty market. Wouldn’t it be nice if you just had a cream that could moisturize the skin, nourish the hair, and even remove makeup? That’s why you are in need of your own Egyptian Magic Cream, which offers multiple beauty benefits in one DIY balm.

The original Egyptian Magic Cream was released in 1991, and it’s been rumored to be the best-kept beauty secret for celebrities. It is 100% natural and may help you unlock more beautiful, healthy skin and hair. Unlike most beauty products, Egyptian Magic Cream is free of additives, parabens, chemicals, preservatives, and fragrances. It contains olive oil, beeswax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly, bee propolis, and divine love. What are these things and how can they help you? We aim to highlight some of those ingredients before providing you with your own recipe.

Olive Oil

Commonly used in culinary applications, olive oil has many health properties, but it also exhibits beauty benefits. The high concentration of antioxidants helps to fight free radicals on the skin, which helps protect against early signs of aging. Olive oil also contains vitamins A, D, E, and K, and compounds like oleocanthal and squalene, all of which may help repair skin damage. Olive oil is hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and non-toxic, making it an excellent carrier oil for topical use.

Beeswax

Beeswax works to soften the skin and enhance skin elasticity, both of which help reduce the signs of aging. According to studies, beeswax exhibits antibacterial, antioxidant, germicidal, and anti-inflammatory properties. These properties make beeswax a highly stable base ingredient, which extends the product’s life. If you have sensitive skin, beeswax is an excellent choice because it will unlikely cause skin irritation.

Bee Propolis

Propolis is widely used in medicine because it exhibits antiseptic properties. In fact, propolis is used in dermatology to treat streptococcal, staphylococcal, and fungal infections. It is highly effective in the treatment of skin burns and it has comparable therapeutic effects to certain over-the-counter burn creams. Propolis also stimulates glycosaminoglycan accumulation, which is necessary tissue growth and wound closure.

Royal Jelly

With a broad spectrum of biological activities, royal jelly has positive effects on the skin. Studies have shown that royal jelly exhibits antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and anti-aging properties. The anti-inflammatory activity may help accelerate wound healing and reduce inflammation. Because royal jelly can stimulate metabolism in tissues, it may improve the regenerative processes, which may reduce early signs of aging

DIY Magic Cream

Ingredients:

 • 1/2 cup olive oil
 • 1.5 tablespoons beeswax pastilles
 • 1 tablespoon raw honey
 • 1/2 tablespoon bee propolis
 • 1/2 tablespoon royal jelly
 • 1 teaspoon bee pollen powder

Instructions:

 • To start, reserve about one to two teaspoons of olive oil and then add the rest to the top of a double boiler. Add the beeswax pastilles to the double boiler as well.
 • Once the beeswax is melted, remove from heat and allow them to cool for about five minutes or so.
 • Pour the olive oil beeswax mixture into a heat-safe glass bowl and mix until it turns into an off-white cream. Make sure to allow the mixture to fully cool before adding the rest of the ingredients, as heat can destroy the enzymes in honey.
 • In a separate bowl, whisk the honey, bee propolis, royal jelly, bee pollen powder, and the reserved teaspoons of olive oil. Make sure to whisk well to fully mix the ingredients together.
 • Add the honey mixture to the olive oil mixture and whisk to combine. You can do this by hand because it doesn’t need to fluff up like body butter.
 • Spoon the mixture into glass jars or metal tins and let the mixture harden completely before storing in a cool, dark place.

In skin care products, there are two types of ingredients: the high-tech, lab-made molecules, and natural ingredients from plants. Honey falls under the latter category and it’s been used for both medicinal and beauty applications for thousands of years. Ancient Sumerian tablets indicate that humans used honey in cosmetics as early as 2100 BC. It’s fair to say, then, that honey is one of the oldest natural skin care ingredients.

What Is Manuka Honey?

There are many types of honey, with one of the most prized varieties being Manuka honey. This semi-opaque, creamy honey is made from the nectar of the Manuka plant. Native to New Zealand and Australia, the Manuka bush blooms small whitish pink flowers. Most honey that you purchase is made from a variety of different flower nectars, but Manuka honey is exclusively crafted from Manuka flowers. Because of that distinction, Manuka honey has a rich golden hue and high concentration of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. In fact, various studies confirm that Manuka honey has a higher pH and sugar content than other honeys, and researchers believe that those attributes enhance the antibacterial activity

The Antibacterial Properties

In the late 1800s, researchers discovered that honey contains glucose oxidase, an enzyme that converts sugar into a mild, bleach-like antiseptic you probably have at home: hydrogen peroxide. What makes Manuka honey so valuable is that in addition to hydrogen peroxide, it contains methylglyoxal. This compound is an even stronger antibacterial agent than hydrogen peroxide. Some studies suggest that it may fight against strong bacteria like Staphylococcus or E.coli. What does that mean for your skin? The antibacterial activity in Manuka honey may help combat blemishes, infections, and even impetigo.

Keeps Skin Hydrated And Soft

Honey is probably not the first ingredient you think of in regards to moisturizing the skin. Manuka honey may be very effective at battling dry, cracked skin because it exhibits emollient and humectant properties. Emollients fill the spaces between the cracks to promote softer skin, whereas humectants draw moisture from the air into the skin to boost hydration. Manuka honey is also useful for fighting flaky skin and general irritation, both of which are symptoms of dry or dehydrated skin.

May Reduce Signs Of Aging

Manuka honey exhibits anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, which work to fight bacteria and promote healing. Additionally, Manuka honey provides optimal moisture, which is vital if you want to reduce signs of aging. Dry and cracked skin is more prone to wrinkles, discoloration, age spots, and fine lines. The antioxidants in Manuka honey also promote healing and may even enhance collagen production, which keeps the skin looking younger. Plus, the bleach-like qualities from the hydrogen peroxide in Manuka honey may help clear up skin discolorations.

Manuka Honey Body Butter

Ingredients:

Instructions:

 • Put the coconut butter, coconut oil, and shea butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Keep on the heat until fully melted.
 • Remove from the heat and pour the mixture into a heat-safe bowl. Allow the mixture to sit until it is opaque. You can accelerate this process by putting the mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
 • Once the mixture is ready, use a hand mixer to whip it up. Add the Manuka honey and continue whipping with the hand mixer until light and fluffy.
 • Transfer the body butter to a glass container and store in the fridge until ready to use.

]]>

Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a chronic skin condition that typically presents dry, itchy patches on the skin. The inflammation, itchiness, and redness can lead to cracked or swollen skin, or even blisters. Dermatologists typically prescribe steroid creams to help control the condition, but you can go a more natural route. Homemade eczema creams harness the power of natural ingredients to moisturize the skin and calm inflammation.

Believe it or not, homemade creams can be very effective at reducing eczema symptoms. The reason for this is because they contain nourishing, moisturizing ingredients that exhibit anti-inflammatory properties. Some of these ingredients include shea butter, coconut oil, oatmeal, and aloe vera, all of which help relieve itching and promote healing. In fact, research shows that shea butter contains beneficial compounds that exhibit potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity

Please note that if eczema symptoms are severe or persistent, you may require over-the-counter or prescription-strength creams/ointments. Those products often contain active ingredients like immunomodulators or corticosteroids, which work to control symptoms and reduce inflammation. If you want to go the more natural route before resorting to those treatments, the following creams may provide relief.

Baby Butter Balm

A baby’s skin is very sensitive, so prioritizing gentle and safe ingredients for eczema treatment is paramount. When using the following cream on a baby’s skin, make sure to do a small patch test before applying to the affected area.

Ingredients:

 • 1/4 cup shea butter
 • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
 • 1 teaspoon ground oatmeal

Instructions:

 • In a small heat-safe bowl, melt the shea butter and coconut oil in the microwave or in the top of a double boiler. You can also make your own version of a double boiler and melt those ingredients that way.
 • Once the shea butter and coconut oil are fully melted, remove from the heat source and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
 • Add the ground oatmeal to the melted mixture and stir to combine. Transfer to a clean, airtight container and allow it to solidify at room temperature. Use when ready.

Soothing Oatmeal Cream

Known for its soothing properties, oatmeal has been used for centuries to remedy skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis. Oats contain compounds, such as beta-glucans, that work to reduce itching, calm inflammation, and relieve dry or irritated skin.

Ingredients:

 • 1/2 cup oats
 • 1/4 cup coconut oil
 • 2 tablespoons raw organic honey
 • 10 drops lavender essential oil (optional)

Instructions:

 • For the oats, you can either use regular rolled oats or you can add them to a food processor and blend them into a powder. The choice is yours.
 • In a large bowl, combine the oats, coconut oil, and honey, mixing until thoroughly combined. Add the lavender essential oil (if using) and mix again.
 • Apply a small amount of the cream to the affected areas and gently massage into the skin. Leave the cream on for a few minutes so that the ingredients can penetrate the skin.
 • Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. Store the remaining cream in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

Aloe Vera & Olive Oil Eczema Balm

Olive oil is a natural moisturizer that works to hydrate the skin and enhance skin barrier function. The antioxidants and healthy fats in olive oil work to nourish and soothe dry, itchy skin. Aloe vera exhibits powerful anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness and itching, all the while providing a cooling sensation. A six-week study compared the effectiveness of Olivederma (a combination of olive oil and aloe vera) and betamethasone (a corticosteroid) for eczema treatment. The study found that both the Olivederma and betamethasone reduced eczema severity, but Olivederma showed greater improvement.

Ingredients:

 • 1 tablespoon cocoa butter
 • 2 tablespoons olive oil
 • 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
 • 10 drops rosehip oil (optional)

Instructions:

 • Add the cocoa butter to the top of a double boiler over medium-low heat and stir occasionally until melted.
 • Once the cocoa butter is melted, pour in the olive oil and remove from heat. Pour the aloe vera gel into the mixture and stir to combine.
 • Add the rosehip oil (if desired) and then transfer the mixture to a clean, airtight container. Allow it to cool completely before you use it. Store in a cool, dark place.

Some people are more prone to body odor (BO) than others. Excessive perspiration or particular foods you eat can cause an unbearable stench. Sometimes, the root cause of your BO is poor gut health, i.e. a gut that doesn’t have a healthy balance of beneficial bacteria. Whatever the cause of your stinky pits, you don’t want to be the one smelly person. Why not detox your armpits, then?

What’s Wrong With Commercial Deodorants?

Commercial deodorants, especially anti-perspirant deodorants, are replete with chemicals that can harm the nervous and endocrine systems. Those chemicals can actually cause you to sweat and stink more than a natural deodorant can. Some common ingredients that are problematic are detailed below:

 • Phthalates: These endocrine disruptors are found in plastic and can cause hormonal imbalance, or even infertility, especially in men.
 • Formaldehyde: This known carcinogen may kill germs, but it can seriously harm the body.
 • Parabens: These hormone disruptors have unfortunately been found in biopsied tissue with breast cancer.
 • Aluminum: There is some evidence that links aluminum to cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, but more research is necessary to confirm this.
 • Propylene glycol: The common name for this toxin is antifreeze. The Environmental Working Group reports that it carries a moderate risk of immunotoxicity and allergies. It is a highly controversial ingredient in personal care products.
 • Antibacterial Substances: Antibacterial substances are bad? Well, some of these substances are known endocrine disruptors and can negatively affect immune function.

Does Armpit Detoxification Work?

We’ll say this up front: there is no concrete medical or scientific evidence that supports the concept of armpit detoxing. A person’s body does not simply detox via the armpits. The liver, kidneys, lymph nodes, and spleen filter toxins that enter the body. The body then eliminates toxins via sweat, urine, and feces. The skin does not typically filter toxins, as armpit detox proponents claim.

Some ingredients that people use to detox their pits can often cause irritation or other problems. Apple cider vinegar, for example, can irritate the skin, especially if the person has dry or sensitive skin. However, there are some supporters of armpit detoxification, but they stress that you should not use a scrub if you notice a rash under the arms. Additionally, if you use the underarm scrub in this article and find that it causes irritation or burning, stop the use.

Whether or not an armpit detox works may be entirely personal. Some people swear that a regular armpit detox helps eliminate odor, even without wearing any deodorant. Other people notice that they sweat less after trying the armpit detox. All of this is completely personal and not based on scientific evidence. However, should you want to experiment with an odor removing underarm scrub, consider the recipe below.

Odor Removing Underarm Scrub

Ingredients:

 • 1/2 cup brown sugar
 • 1/2 cup sea salt
 • 1 tablespoon each: lemon juice and lemon zest
 • 1 tablespoon each: melted coconut oil and honey

There are those who can’t live without lip balms, and others who only purchase lip balms as an afterthought at the grocery store. You know those people, the ones that load their groceries on the conveyor belt and snag a lip balm just because. Lip balm is not a “just because” item, people. Your lips require extra love and attention, and the best way to do that is to supply them with natural, non-toxic ingredients.

You can’t get much more non-toxic than making your own lip balm. And don’t worry about it costing an arm and a leg because that is not the case. Not only do the ingredients in this lip balm make your lips feel hydrated and moisturized, but they also smell incredible. In fact, this lip balm smells so great that you may want to eat it! Please don’t, though, because you don’t need to eat a combination of oils, shea butter, and beeswax. To learn more about some of the standout ingredients in this cinnamon honey lip balm, continue reading.

Honey

Honey is a great ingredient to use for dry or chapped lips. Researchers note that honey exhibits antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties. It won’t heal a giant gash in your arm, but it may accelerate the healing of small cracks in the skin. Applying honey to dry or chapped lips can protect them from cracking or infection. Additionally, honey can promote healing and provide your lips with moisture.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is known for its moisturizing properties, making it an ideal ingredient for chapped lips. The reason your lips are susceptible to moisture loss is because the skin is so thin, and they are always exposed to the elements. Coconut oil is an emollient, meaning it helps to keep the skin moist and protected. Emollients trap moisture into the skin, so the best time to apply them is after bathing, or washing your face in the case of a lip balm. Research indicates that coconut oil has potential disinfecting and antimicrobial properties, which may keep your lips germ-free and protected.

Apricot Oil

Apricot oil is a cosmetic oil made from apricot kernels. It has a variety of skin and hair care benefits, but do not ingest it, as it is only intended for cosmetic purposes. In regards to the lips, apricot oil may enhance moisture levels and prevent chapping. The skin can easily absorb this oil, and it applies with a smooth glide. Apricot oil may also soften the skin on your lips and protect them from dryness and cracking. It may even keep your lips looking soft and luscious.
