While skin tags commonly occur in the elderly, younger people can also develop them. Most people see them as a deformity and want to get rid of them forever. Luckily, you don’t have to seek out medical procedures to remove them. There are herbal remedies that can help you naturally get rid of skin tags.

What Are Skin Tags?

Skin tags, also known as acrochordons, are benign skin growths that resemble tiny flaps of skin. From a medical standpoint, skin tags are harmless, but they can cause self-esteem issues in those who have them. They typically appear where the skin folds, for example, around the neck, over the eyelids, under the armpits, under the breasts, or in the groin folds. They are usually brownish, irregular-looking skin outgrowths.

Let It Be Known: Skin tags and warts are not the same thing. That is all.

When you are attempting to get rid of skin tags, it is important to cut off their blood supply. Even though this can happen gradually over time, there are certain natural ingredients that can do that for you.

Tea Tree Oil

Because tea tree oil contains antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral properties, it helps the skin tag fall off by itself. You won’t even feel the removal process! Soak a cotton ball in water and add three drops of tea tree oil. Clean the area around the skin tag with soap and water and dry the area. Massage the skin tag with the cotton ball three times a day.

Apple Cider Vinegar

This is an age-old remedy for getting rid of skin tags. The acidity of apple cider vinegar, along with the pH balancing properties, works to make the skin tag go away. Soak a cotton ball in two tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar and apply it to the skin tag after cleaning the area. You can massage it three times a day, or tape the cotton ball on overnight until it naturally falls off.

Banana Peels

Banana peels have actually been known to be an effective remedy for wart removal. They contain enzymes and acids that can help you shed skin tags. Cut a small portion of the peel and apply the fibrous part (white side) of the peel to a clean skin tag for about an hour a day until it the tag falls off.

Manuka Honey

Manuka honey is a non-peroxide honey variety and applying it to the skin tag works to restrict the oxygen supply, which helps with the removal process. Manuka honey also contains healing properties that help the skin heal faster once the skin tag falls off. Additionally, it helps prevent scars.

Garlic

Garlic contains antibacterial and antifungal properties. In order for this remedy to work, you have to crush the garlic because the juices help to remove the skin tag. Apple 1-2 cloves of crushed garlic on the skin tag for about an hour. Do this twice daily until the skin tag falls off.

Castor Oil

Known to remove warts and moles, castor oil can also help with the removal of skin tags. The potent phytochemicals in castor oil help with the quick removal of skin tags and they promote a swift recovery. Apply 1-2 drops of castor oil on your skin tag and cover it with a bandage. Reapply this the castor oil bandage two or three times daily.

May has been designated as National Melanoma Month. Melanoma Monday (May 1st this year), as it has become known, aims to raise awareness about melanoma. Since melanoma is the most aggressive form of skin cancer, it is important that people know the warning signs. While there are many types of skin cancer, melanoma accounts for 75% of all skin cancer deaths.

Knowing the warning signs and symptoms of melanoma is beneficial, especially since the condition is increasing in people under age 40. It is always optimal to attack the problem before it worsens or spreads, so it is best to continually examine moles or skin spots that you may have on your body. This is why you should know the ABCDEs of the condition.

A is for Asymmetry

If you imagine a line that divides your mole in half, are both sides equal? If they are not, then the mole is considered asymmetrical and you should seek medical advice.

B is for Border

If the border or edge of the mole looks uneven then you may want to consult a medical professional.

C is for Color

Moles tend to be one uniform color. If there are several colors or shades in a mole, this could be an indication of melanoma.

D is for Diameter

Diameter is the length of the entire mole. Melanomas typically have a diameter of 1/4inch (6mm), so keep an eye on the size of your mole(s) to detect melanoma early.

E is for Evolving

It is best you keep track of your mole(s) to make sure that the size, shape, and color are the same. If there is any difference, such as itching, bleeding, or puss from the mole, then it could indicate that the mole is malignant.

There are natural remedies that can help those who have melanoma. The following remedies may help to improve the condition, but it depends on the severity and the person.

Remove Toxins From Your Diet

It is imperative to your health, if you have melanoma or any type of cancer, to remove any sort of toxic foods from your diet. It is beneficial to avoid processed foods, acidic foods, soy products, refined sugars, meats, meat products, hydrogenated oils, fast food, and junk food. Try to focus on eating plant-based foods like fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, and whole grains. These foods can help supply the body with the essential nutrients that it needs, and they also help to keep the body alkaline. Having an alkaline body with balanced pH levels can help to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.

Use Eggplan

You may not know this, but eggplant is surprisingly beneficial for treating the affected cells in melanoma. There are phytonutrients, glycosides, and glycoalkaloids in eggplants that can help destroy cancer cells without harming the other cells in the body. Mash eggplant into a paste and apply it to the affected spots. You can enhance the healing properties by mixing in a little raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the eggplant.

Essiac Tea

It is beneficial for those with melanoma to consume essiac tea. This tea is a mixture of the following herbs: burdock root, slippery elm bark, sheep sorrel, and Indian rhubarb root. Together, all of these herbs can aid in reducing tumor growth, help relieve pain, and they help to boost the immune system. The best thing about this tea is that it helps to reduce inflammation while also repairing cells.

Turmeric

Turmeric has been known to be a natural cancer remedy. Studies have indicated that curcumin, the active healing ingredient in turmeric, can help prevent cancer cell growth. Turmeric has been most effective for people with colon, breast, bowel, and skin cancers.

Do you want to get rid of skin tags, moles, or skin cancer without going to see a medical practitioner? We have two recipes for black salves that can naturally get rid of these unwanted skin “markings,” let’s call them.

These black salve recipes are potent and dangerous to skin tags, skin cancer, abscesses, and other skin infections you may have. This treatment method is similar to soaking a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and adhering it over the mole or skin tag. You keep doing it and it eventually falls off the body. The salve is just more potent and more effective.

Some of these ingredients may not be readily available to you, but health food stores or organic markets are great places to look. If these ingredients prove difficult to find, the apple cider vinegar way is effective, but may not be effective in killing skin cancer.

Recipe #1

Use 2 ounces of each of the following ingredients

Recipe #2

Use 2 ounces of each of the following ingredients

  • Bloodroot powder
  • Galangal
  • Chaparral
  • Graviola
  • Turmeric powder
  • Poke root
  • Calendula flowers
  • Activated charcoal
  • Bentonite clay
  • DMSO
  • Organic coconut oil

For each recipe, blend all of the ingredients together in a blender. Slowly add in the coconut oil while blending. The salves should have a mud-like consistency. If the salve is too dry, add more coconut oil. If you need to thicken it, you can add a little more bentonite clay.

Store either salve in a glass jar and apply to the area on the skin using a cotton ball or gauze. Tape the cotton ball or gauze to the skin (salve side on the skin) and leave it on for a day. Repeat this process until the skin tag, mole, or skin cancer is gone.

Note: Bloodroot should not be consumed because it is a harsh herb. Do not ingest this herb.

Birthmarks and Little White Spots https://www.dherbs.com/articles/wellness-prevention/birth-marks-and-little-white-spots/ Thu, 13 Jun 2013 09:25:53 +0000 https://www.dherbs.com/uncategorized/birth-marks-and-little-white-spots/

A birthmark is not only a physical mark on the body since birth, but a code pertaining to a past-life experience. Not the result of a nutritional deficiency. Little white spots have not always been present, though they have always been there.

Birthmarks are moles or blemishes that are present on the skin from birth. The medical name for a birthmark is a nevus. Significant portions of newborns have some sort of birthmark.

Causes of Birthmarks

Birthmarks can either be red or pigmented. If a birthmark is red, the cause is said to be an abnormality in the blood vessels under the skin. If the spot is pigmented, the cause is a cluster of pigmented cells in the skin.

At DHerbs, we feel that birthmarks also have a metaphysical meaning behind them. From that standpoint, birthmarks are indicators of our past lives. They show our past life experiences and in many cases, how we died.

Metaphysical Meaning Behind Birthmarks

Birthmarks take on many different shapes and sizes. According to www.healpastlives.com, different types of birthmarks can coincide with our past life experiences. Certain marks we are born with are signals of how we died in a past life. Marks can signal stab wounds, bullet wounds, or even burn marks. The location of the mark is said to indicate where the wound was inflicted.

In our auras lie the stored information from our most recent past life. According to Roger Woolger, PhD, “When someone is killed violently or dies prematurely, he or she will inevitably have many conflicting and unresolved thoughts and feelings at the time of death…Such thoughts and feelings, if they are present with great intensity when we die, will follow us with undiminished intensity into the after-death realm of the first bardo (Tibetan word meaning “intermediate state”).

White Spots on the Skin

White spots on the skin are called vitiligo. Medically speaking, the cause of these spots is a lack of melanocytes, or the pigment producing cells, in the skin. No definite reason for this has been found, but vitiligo is thought to be an autoimmune condition. The white spots can occur anywhere in the body on both males and females. Since the spots are white in color, they are more noticeable on darker skin tones.

According to www.meaningfullife.com, the metaphysical reason for white spots on the skin is a disruption of balance in the soul. The location of the spots indicates that vitality has left that specific spot in the body.

Healing Naturally

There is no direct danger in having a birthmark. If a birthmark changes shape, color, or size it is important to look into the issue and make sure there is no underlying problem in the body. There are few natural ways to get rid of moles, so it is best to be accepting of your birthmark and remember that it is uniquely you!

White spots on the skin are not thought to be dangerous to the body either. There are several natural remedies you can try if the spots bother you. Some solutions offered by www.homemademedicine.com include:

  • Vitamin B and C supplements
  • Alum, Natrum Carbonicum, Phosphorus, Sepia, Silica, and Sulfur supplements

Dherbs Solutions

Dherbs offers several great natural supplements that may be helpful in dealing with white spots on the skin.
Remember that birthmarks and white spots are signals of our past. They are not meaningless marks. The past life reason of our present day birthmark or spot should remind us of where we have come from and who we are.

A mole is a skin lesion that is usually benign (non-cancerous) in nature. Moles are part of a group of skin lesions that include freckles, benign lentigines, seborrheic keratosis, and skin tags.

Moles are generally black or brown in color. They occur early in life and sometimes can slowly change over time. Moles are usually not something to worry about unless severe change occurs. If this happens, you should seek advice as to whether the mole had changed into something more serious.

Moles have the potential to turn into malignant melanoma, a serious form of cancer. Most moles remain benign, but if you are concerned about a mole you have, look for the ABCDE’s of melanoma:

  • A for asymmetry: If the mole looks different on one half versus the other half
  • B for irregular border: Poorly defined or irregular border
  • C for color: Multiple colors such as black, brown, blue, red, or white occur together in the same mole
  • D for diameter: If a mole is larger around than a standard pencil eraser
  • E for evolving: A mole that changes size, shape, or color

Also, keep a look out for new moles that appear or any moles that bother you. If a mole bleeds, is painful, or itches you should look into possible causes.

Moles are commonly found on the face and neck, but may occur on any area of the body. They can be found alone or in larger patches of moles.

Cause of Moles

Moles occur when skin cells called melanocytes grow in a cluster instead of being spread evenly throughout the skin. Melanocytes also give moles their pigment. Sun exposure can darken the pigment over time.

Many people are born with moles and others simply develop them during some time of their life. Moles on the body at birth are called or referred to as ‘congenital nevi.’ Moles that are hereditary in nature are called “dysplastic nevi” that are larger than average and irregular in shape.

There is a school of thought that believes moles signify past- life experiences. It is thought that were the mole occurs on the body is where a past- life trauma occurred.

Natural Solutions for Moles

Since most moles pose no threat, it is not necessary to remove them. If a mole bothers you try some of these at home remedies that may help in alleviating the condition:

  • Fresh pineapple juice
  • Garlic
  • Fig stems
  • Grapefruit juice

Applying these natural remedies to the affected area on a regular basis could help to lessen the appearance of the mole.

Dherbs Solutions

Dherbs carries several products that could help cleanse your body and lessen the severity of your mole. Some products to try include:

These products, along with a healthy diet are a great way to heal your body from and find relief from your moles.
