Soothing Tea is our five-herb stomach-soothing blend formulated to promote digestive comfort while helping the body relax.* Chamomile, ginger, peppermint, anise, and fennel work together to soothe the stomach and colon, support comfortable digestion, and help maintain a balanced digestive environment.* Enjoy it warm or cold whenever your digestive system could use gentle botanical support.

Gentle herbal support for digestive comfort

Occasional digestive discomfort can happen after eating too quickly, consuming a large meal, trying unfamiliar foods, or simply having a day when the digestive system feels unsettled.

Five traditional digestive herbs in one cup

We formulated Soothing Tea with chamomile flower, ginger root, peppermint leaf, anise, and fennel seed—five botanicals with long histories of use in traditional digestive preparations.

Rather than relying on one herb, the formula combines warming, cooling, aromatic, and calming botanicals to create a balanced tea for the stomach and colon.*

Soothing the stomach and colon

Digestion involves more than the stomach. Food moves through a coordinated gastrointestinal system that includes the stomach, small intestine, and colon.

Comfort throughout the digestive tract

Soothing Tea is formulated specifically to help calm both the stomach and colon.* Its aromatic herbs can make it a comforting addition to a daily digestive-wellness routine, particularly when the digestive tract feels occasionally unsettled.

Digestive comfort after meals

A satisfying meal shouldn't have to leave you feeling uncomfortably full.

A warm cup after eating

Ginger, peppermint, fennel, and anise are all widely used in traditional after-meal preparations. Their aromatic plant compounds complement one another and make Soothing Tea a natural choice after food.*

Try incorporating a cup into your post-meal routine rather than waiting until your stomach already feels uncomfortable.

Soothing Tea for occasional bloating

Bloating can result from swallowed air, certain foods, meal size, digestive patterns, constipation, and many other factors.

Traditional carminative herbs

Fennel, anise, ginger, and peppermint are traditionally classified as digestive or carminative herbs. These aromatic plants have historically been consumed after meals to support digestive comfort and help with occasional sensations of fullness or gas.*

Soothing Tea combines all four with calming chamomile instead of relying on a single digestive herb.

Soothing Tea for occasional gas

Gas is a normal part of digestion, but excess gas can be uncomfortable.

Fennel and anise for digestive wellness

Fennel and anise are particularly well known in traditional herbalism for their use after meals. Both contain aromatic compounds that contribute to their distinctive flavors and digestive applications.

Their naturally sweet, licorice-like notes also help balance the sharper flavor of ginger and cooling character of peppermint.

Chamomile and digestive relaxation

Chamomile is commonly associated with relaxation, but its traditional applications extend to digestion.

A gentle herb for the stomach

Chamomile flowers contain flavonoids and aromatic compounds, including apigenin and bisabolol-related compounds.

We include chamomile to provide gentle botanical support for the stomach while contributing to the overall relaxing character of the tea.*

Ginger and comfortable digestion

Ginger has been used as a culinary spice and digestive botanical across cultures for centuries.

Warming support after food

Ginger root naturally contains gingerols, shogaols, and related aromatic compounds. Its warming character contrasts nicely with cooling peppermint and soothing chamomile.

Within Soothing Tea, ginger helps support normal digestive function and comfort, particularly after eating.*

Peppermint and digestive comfort

Peppermint gives Soothing Tea its refreshing, cooling dimension.

Menthol-rich aromatic support

Peppermint naturally contains menthol, menthone, and other volatile compounds. It has a long history of use after meals and in herbal preparations intended to support digestive comfort.*

We pair peppermint with ginger, fennel, anise, and chamomile for a more rounded formula than peppermint tea alone.

Fennel seed and the digestive tract

Fennel seed has traditionally been consumed after meals in many parts of the world.

Naturally aromatic seeds

Fennel's characteristic aroma comes from compounds such as anethole and fenchone. Its naturally sweet flavor also helps make a digestive tea more enjoyable without depending entirely on added sweeteners.

Anise and after-meal wellness

Anise has a distinctive sweet, aromatic flavor that pairs naturally with fennel.

Traditional carminative support

Anise contains anethole and other aromatic plant compounds. Traditionally, the seed has been used in preparations intended to promote digestive comfort after eating.*

Because anise and fennel have complementary flavor profiles, combining them produces a smoother herbal infusion.

Digestive comfort and relaxation

The digestive system and nervous system constantly communicate.

Why stress can affect the stomach

Many people notice changes in appetite, stomach sensations, bowel habits, or digestive comfort during stressful periods.

Soothing Tea brings digestive herbs together with chamomile's relaxing botanical profile, making it suitable for moments when you want to settle into a more comfortable routine after eating.*

A relaxing evening digestive tea

A cup of tea can become part of the transition from a busy day to a quieter evening.

Digestive wellness without conventional caffeine

Soothing Tea's current ingredient list contains no green tea, black tea, coffee, yerba mate, or guarana.

That makes it an appealing herbal option for evenings when you want digestive support without choosing a conventional caffeinated tea.

Supporting normal digestive pH

Different parts of the digestive system naturally maintain different chemical environments.

The body regulates digestive conditions

Soothing Tea is formulated to help maintain normal pH levels in the stomach and colon.*

The tea supports normal digestive wellness rather than artificially changing the body's overall pH. Blood pH, stomach acidity, and the environment within the colon are separately regulated physiological systems.

Soothing Tea and bowel regularity

Digestive comfort and bowel regularity are related, but they aren't identical.

Soothing rather than stimulating

Soothing Tea is primarily designed to calm and support the digestive system.* It is not formulated as a stimulant laxative.

For normal bowel regularity, adequate water, dietary fiber, physical activity, and regular eating habits remain important.

Soothing Tea and hydration

Herbal tea contributes fluid to your daily routine.

A flavorful alternative to plain water

Some people find it easier to maintain fluid intake when they have several beverage choices throughout the day. Soothing Tea can be enjoyed warm or cold, allowing it to fit different seasons and routines.

Soothing Tea after a heavy meal

Large or rich meals can leave the digestive system feeling temporarily overwhelmed.

A simple post-meal ritual

A warm cup of Soothing Tea provides a combination of ginger, peppermint, fennel, anise, and chamomile without adding another heavy food to the meal.

Sip it slowly rather than consuming it quickly.

Soothing Tea vs. peppermint tea

Peppermint tea concentrates on a single botanical.

One herb vs. five complementary herbs

Peppermint provides cooling, aromatic digestive support. Soothing Tea includes peppermint but expands the formula with ginger, chamomile, fennel, and anise.

This creates a broader digestive tea that combines warming ginger, calming chamomile, and traditional carminative seeds with peppermint.

Soothing Tea vs. ginger tea

Both can fit into a digestive-wellness routine.

Warming ginger vs. a balanced herbal blend

Straight ginger tea delivers ginger's characteristic warming and spicy profile.

Soothing Tea provides ginger in combination with cooling peppermint, soothing chamomile, and naturally aromatic fennel and anise. The result is less focused on one herb and more focused on balanced digestive comfort.*

Soothing Tea vs. chamomile tea

Chamomile tea is commonly selected for relaxation.

Relaxation vs. digestive-focused relaxation

Soothing Tea contains chamomile but adds four herbs traditionally associated with digestion.

Choose plain chamomile when you specifically want a simple chamomile infusion. Choose Soothing Tea when you want chamomile's relaxing qualities combined with a broader digestive formula.*

Soothing Tea vs. fennel tea

Fennel tea primarily provides the aromatic compounds found in fennel seed.

Single-seed infusion vs. multi-herb support

Soothing Tea pairs fennel with anise, which has a similar naturally sweet aromatic character, and then adds ginger, peppermint, and chamomile.

The result provides more botanical variety while maintaining fennel's traditional digestive role.

Soothing Tea vs. green tea

These teas serve very different purposes.

Digestive comfort vs. caffeinated plant tea

Green tea comes from Camellia sinensis and naturally contains caffeine.

Soothing Tea contains five herbal ingredients and no green tea. If your goal is gentle digestive comfort or an evening herbal beverage, Soothing Tea may fit that purpose better.

Soothing Tea vs. antacid

An antacid and an herbal tea shouldn't be considered equivalent.

Herbal digestive support vs. medication

Antacids are medicines designed to neutralize stomach acid for temporary relief of acid-related symptoms.

Soothing Tea is an herbal wellness beverage formulated to soothe the stomach and colon and support normal digestive conditions.* It is not designed as an antacid or medication for acid reflux, GERD, ulcers, or another gastrointestinal disease.

Soothing Tea vs. digestive enzymes

Digestive enzymes and herbal teas approach digestion differently.

Enzymes vs. botanical comfort

Digestive enzyme supplements provide enzymes that help break down particular components of food.

Soothing Tea does not provide standardized digestive enzymes. Instead, it uses aromatic and calming herbs to support digestive comfort.*

Soothing Tea vs. probiotic

Probiotics provide live microorganisms.

Microbial support vs. herbal digestive support

Soothing Tea does not contain probiotic strains. Its five herbs provide botanical support for digestive comfort rather than adding live microorganisms to the intestinal tract.

The two products therefore serve different purposes.

Soothing Tea vs. Bowel Motion Tea

These two Dherbs teas have very different goals.

Soothing digestion vs. promoting bowel movement

Soothing Tea contains chamomile, ginger, peppermint, anise, and fennel and focuses on calming the stomach and colon.*

Our Bowel Motion Tea is designed specifically around bowel elimination and regularity. Choose according to your primary goal rather than treating all digestive teas as interchangeable.

Soothing Tea vs. 10 Day Colon Cleanse

Soothing Tea can be used independently, but it also has a role within a broader Dherbs cleansing program.

Everyday digestive tea vs. structured colon cleanse

Our 10 Day Colon Cleanse is a structured multi-product regimen designed specifically for the colon and intestinal tract. It includes formulas, activated charcoal, dietary instructions, and Soothing Tea. The regimen calls for drinking one cup of Soothing Tea each day.

Choose Soothing Tea when you simply want a stomach-soothing herbal beverage. The 10 Day Colon Cleanse is the more comprehensive option when your goal is a structured colon-focused cleansing regimen.

Soothing Tea vs. Intestinal Cleanser Mix

Both products relate to digestive wellness, but their formats and purposes differ considerably.

Comfort vs. fiber-based intestinal support

Soothing Tea is a five-herb infusion designed primarily around digestive comfort and relaxation.*

Our Intestinal Cleanser Mix contains ingredients such as psyllium husk, apple pectin, slippery elm, fennel, ginger, and additional botanicals and is designed as a more concentrated intestinal-cleansing mixture.

Soothing Tea is therefore the gentler beverage-oriented option, while Intestinal Cleanser Mix serves a more targeted intestinal role.
