Yes, it is still okay for you to cleanse. People who have had the procedure done usually have issues digesting capsules. If this applies to you, we suggest doing the Liquid Full Body Cleanse. The capsules are always more potent. You do have the option of emptying the contents of the capsules into freshly squeezed juices, smoothies or herbal teas.
No, it is not safe to cleanse while breast feeding. Because you're detoxing your body you want to avoid the exchange of body fluids. To safely detox your body while nursing we suggest taking the Electric Greens Combo. It helps to naturally cleanse your body.
The foods within the diet still provides the proper amount of protein one needs. Foods like avocado's, almonds, all leafy green vegetables such as spinach, swiss char and broccoli, kale, pumpkin seeds and more contains high amounts of protein. You can also add protein powder to smoothies. Protein powders that are allowed on the cleanse include spirulina, hemp protein, hemp seeds and green pea protein. You cannot use protein powders that are dairy based like whey protein.
Yes, tea's are okay to consume while on the cleanse. Be sure that the tea is caffeine free and herbal.
We understand that the diet can be challenging. The best thing to do is to switch it up or alternate the foods you're consuming. We suggest trying raw food recipes or trying a raw food restaurant when customers get stumped in their food selections. You can get great ideas in how to prepare the foods differently.
