I think the Activated Charcoal definitely assists with the entire cleansing as it helped my body to flush consistently throughout the day and night. It's a staple for me whether or not I'm on a cleanse. I have recommended this product to others, especially for those who'd like to slowly migrate to a cleanse or don't want to do a full cleanse. *

At first this cleanser was hitting my body real hard, but then I realized how potent it is so I took it as my body could handle it. I do know it came with instructions, but sometimes you truly just have to listen to your own body and pace yourself accordingly.
