I need some advice on whether I am taking the right herbs to balance my hormones. I have a mustache and a lot of hair on my face and acne. So I take saw palmetto for that. Also, I had an ovary removed about 2 years ago. Since then I have a problem with vaginal dryness and very low sex drive. I am always moody and irritated by everything. I have to remove my entire thyroid gland in about two weeks. I have done all kinds of reading. I am a 49 yr. old black female. When I was younger I had severe cystic acne that left me with what the dermatologist calls "ice pick scaring" and enlarged pores.
