Does using 3/4 tsp of senna powder with 1tsp of Metamucil cause weight gain? I have been doing this regime for over 5 years every morning. My intestinal health is wonderful----and although I have ridiculous eating habits and have now started exercising properly at the age of 42, I was wondering could this have contributed. I weighed 195lbs 7 years ago and now I weigh 248lbs. I have a goal to drop 60 pounds by August. My height is 5'10".
