I have been a heavy smoker for eight years and I recently felt the cigarettes start taking a toll on me. Three weeks ago I started having this irritating throat ache, so I starting skipping a few cigarettes. The more smokes I skipped the more I felt my throat getting better. Shortly after I started back smoking heavily again I experienced bronchitis/pneumonia symptoms. Such as Fevers, Soar and swollen throat, congestion, wet coughs, loss of appetite, and a few other symptoms. I immediately stopped smoking. It's been 6 days now and my symptoms have decreased, but I am getting these nasty night sweats. I am waking up at least 4 or five times a night drenched in sweat. I feel it could be a number of things causing the night sweats such as nicotine withdrawals, my body's immune system going to work and sweating out toxins, and a number of other reasons. I would like to hear your expert opinion on why you think I am experiencing these sweat episodes, that sometimes happened in the day too. Also I took one capsule of Super Milk Thistle 3 days ago.
